Biography
Cáritas ("charity" in Latin) drives our mission to bridge the private and public arenas, in partnership with charities, foundations, and endowments, implementing an all-asset, ultra-low fee index-only orientation, with covered-call options to increase income/minimize downside risk. We orient toward ESG/SRI asset allocations in our separately managed portfolios, but also allocate assets in a more aggressive separately managed account orientation of highly concentrated individual equities and leveraged ETFs, when the client requests and is suited for such investment strategies. Also, as a Compass real estate agent, I bring the experience of buying and selling on behalf of my clients, as well as my own transactions, in the city of San Francisco, for over 30 years, having been raised in Pacific Heights, collaborating with like-minded agents who believe in supporting the community, engendering a spirit of cooperation and market acumen. The home is where the heart is, yes, however the home, or any residential property, represents essentially three things: 1) A Sanctuary; 2) An Investment; and 3) A piece of Art. These three components are what drive the interests of our clients to either buy or sell, and we're here at Compass to see that marketing and positioning are optimized on the buy-side or the sell-side of any real estate transaction. The principle investment vehicle recommended for our clients is our "Self-Driving Portfolio," the mainstay of our investment philosophy. This single account portfolio, allocated according to each client's unique needs, is a composed of seven low fee ETFs, covering all asset classes (i.e., equities, fixed income, precious metals, real estate, and cash).Twenty-seven years of institutional, retail, capital markets and real estate wealth management experience.
